In Pure massage and spa experience the clients’ brief outlined a space with a serene and calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and rejuvenation. In response, the architect chose an organic minimalist approach in design that encourages a sense of spaciousness and tranquility. Minimalist forms in furniture, natural materials and neutral colours enhance the simplicity and welcoming atmosphere of the space.
Curved surface walls divide the original open space layout into private treatment rooms. Avoiding angular surfaces and sharp edges the transition from one space to the other is smooth and uninterrupted. Space dividers allow for polymorphic rooms that can host private or group activities. An interplay of natural light and soft diffused lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dimmable lights and candles further enhance the calming effect and provide a sense of intimacy. Touches of nature-inspired decor such as indoor plants and natural textures bring the outdoors inside and create a sense of harmony with the environment.
